A change of heart? It seems like Jennie Garth‘s husband, Dave Abrams, has decided to go ahead and not divorce his wife of almost five years.

According to documents obtained by The Blast, the 37-year-old has apparently changed his mind when it comes to ending things with the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 46. And this surprising news comes after the pair was spotted hanging out at a Los Angeles Lakers game together on January 29. As the saying goes, basketball solves everything. We’re not sure that’s an actual thing people say, but it may have worked in this case.

The actress’ rep had this to tell People: “They have been working hard on their relationship and they’re in a really good place now. They’re very happy.” It was a different story less than two years ago when we all learned that the pair had decided to take some time off to patch things up.

“They are still trying to make it work, but they haven’t been living together,” a source told Us Weekly at the time. “They love each other, but like every marriage, it takes work. Jennie is taking the time to focus on her girls and herself. They have not legally separated, however.” A couple of months later, Dave filed for divorce, but now there seems to be some light at the end of the tunnel.

This is the What I Like About You alum’s third marriage — she was previously married to Daniel B. Clark for two years from 1994 to 1996 and then to Peter Facinelli from 2001 to 2013. Jennie shares daughters Luca, 21, Lola, 16, and Fiona, 12, with Peter. Jennie’s focus is clearly still her kids, though, as she once wrote on Instagram that her three girls are, “my everything, always there for me thru thick and thin.” She added, “They teach me new levels of love and understanding every day. Loyal and full of faith in me. Unwavering and incredibly strong. I am forever grateful for them.”
