Following her return to Instagram, fans of the Twister actress quickly flooded the comments with sweet messages. “I hope you are feeling better! I can’t wait for this,” one user wrote, while another echoed, “Welcome back! I hope you are feeling great!” A third fan chimed in, writing, “You look beautiful! Glad all is well.”

As Closer Weekly previously reported, Helen was one of a number of people who were briefly hospitalized following a scary car accident in Los Angeles on October 16. According to a spokesperson with the Los Angeles Police Department, per People, the wreck happened in the Mid-City neighborhood of L.A. on the corner of San Vicente Boulevard and Tremaine Avenue. L.A. Police confirmed no crime was committed during the crash.

News of the incident quickly made headlines after the crash, which was caught on video, was released by TMZ. In the clip, Helen’s black SUV can be seen driving through an intersection before a speeding white car clipped her large vehicle at the last moment and flipped it over. Following the initial accident, bystanders rushed to the intersection to provide assistance to those involved.

According to the outlet, Helen was in the backseat of the car and her representative told the outlet that “she was shaken, but suffered no major injuries.” Following a brief check-up at the hospital, the Golden Globe Award-winner released the same evening as the wreck.

Helen’s close call comes just weeks after the beloved actress opened up to Closer Weekly about reviving Mad About You with her handsome costar. “It was as if no time had passed,” she gushed over working with Paul, 63, on the upcoming reboot. “I think we are very committed to saying what we think and really listing to the other person [and] trying things out. You know, you’ve got to make a room that is safe enough for people to throw out good ideas and bad ideas. I hope we have done that.”

The first six episodes of the highly-anticipated revival will drop ad-free exclusively on Spectrum’s On Demand platform on Wednesday, November 20. The final six episodes will release on Wednesday, December 18.

We can’t wait!
