It’s no secret that Heidi Klum is a big fan of Halloween! Every year she walks the red carpet in a very elaborate outfit that must have taken hours to put together. And this year she plans on outdoing herself again.

“I’m pressuring myself. It’s not the outside world, it’s really me. I want to outdo myself every year,” she teased about her 2019 Halloween outfit to Entertainment Tonight. And it’s safe to say that her husband, Tom Kaulitz, will also dress up in something extravagant this year, too.

In 2018, the couple wowed everyone when they went as Disney’s Fiona and Shrek to the supermodel’s 19th Annual Halloween Party in NYC. “He’s game,” Heidi said about her husband’s participation this year. But she does hope that everything goes well for them because she never has time to do a full on “dress rehearsal” before leaving the house.

“Sometimes I sit there for 10 to 12 hours. When I turned myself into a really old woman, it took like, 12 hours, so you don’t really rehearse any of this stuff,” she explained. “You do it on the day and you hope that it works out. So far it always did, but you never know. Fingers and toes crossed!”

Not only that, but Heidi teased what she’s going to wear this year in a video that she shared to Instagram in August. “I’m going to have a very hard time walking, and it’s going to take a really long time putting it together,” she said. We can’t wait to see what she does!

As for her 20th Annual Halloween Party in New York, the fashionista has a couple of ideas on how to make the event memorable.

“I’m gonna do something very, very special,” she teased again. “I’m trying to do something very special on that day, because it’s 20 years already. I can’t believe it! 20 years ago, I thought, ‘There is no real cool party in New York City and someone has to do this.’ And so I did.”

Instead of making this Halloween party her last. Heidi plans on continuing this tradition for many more years to come. “Why not [do it another 20 years]? Why stop the fun when you get older?” she gushed. “I think we should have more fun when we get older!” We do, too!
