Geena Davis Is Unrecognizable As She’s Spotted Dressed Down in Baggy Sweats and a Hoodie

Double-take! Geena Davis had no problem heading out and about while dressed down, as she was spotted taking it easy during a nice little stroll in Los Angeles.

The 63-year-old was seen looking quite casual recently while enjoying her day in public. The legendary actress decided to sport a gray hoodie and some light sweatpants, all matched with white flats. However, it seems like appropriate attire, especially when you’re simply getting some shopping done at the market, which is what the Oscar winner seemed to be doing. It should come as no surprise to see the A League of Their Own star looking quite laid-back and confident — she has always been about aiming to feel her best.

“Self-esteem is so critical, and you can improve yours,” Geena once exclusively told Closer Weekly at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of This Changes Everything. The star also made sure to share some advice when it comes to staying positive in your life, regardless of the circumstances.

“In my adult life I took up archery,” Geena said, explaining that she used to think, “Ugh … I suck!” However, she decided to begin listening to her inner dialogue instead. “My self talk was constantly, ‘I’m not good enough.’ My advice is, when you hear yourself saying negative things, say, ‘Hang on, that’s not true. I’m doing the best I can. I am valuable.'” So true!

The Thelma and Louise costar is now back on our small screen after a run as Dr. Nicole Herman on Grey’s Anatomy. She now plays Sandy Devereaux St. Clair in the popular Netflix series Glow — a show focused on the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. It is now on its third season.

“I’m loving it,” Geena exclusively told Closer about the role. “I’m weirdly excited about it.” When she isn’t busy with her Hollywood career, the tall, iconic performer is all about her three children — daughter Alizeh, 17, and sons Kaiis and Kian, 15 — who she shares with her now ex-husband Reza Jarrahy. The pair tied the knot in 2001 before parting ways in 2017.
