Eva Longoria Reveals That Every Part of Her Pregnant Body Is “Uncomfortable” Now
Now that Eva Longoria is in the home stretch of her first pregnancy, her baby bump has fully popped. And the soon-to-be mom is even admitting that she just doesn’t feel too great at this stage. “Everything’s uncomfortable,” she recently revealed on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. “It’s not just your belly — everything gets bigger. I’ve never seen my thighs so big, and my boobs, they’re in the way of everything. It’s hard.”
The 43-year-old previously decided that she would “live in leggings” and dresses for the remainder of her pregnancy because of her growing baby bump. “It’s just impossible now to wear my old clothes,” she told People back in February. “I’m resistant to buying maternity wear just because I’ve been wearing my stuff and now I’ve gotten to a point where I’m like, ‘I’m so uncomfortable!'” Now, just a little more than a month away from her June due date, she is surely even more uncomfortable!
While she has been enjoying her pregnancy, for the most part, Eva can’t wait for one specific moment after she gives birth to her baby boy. “I think everybody looks forward to the jean moment when you go, ‘It fits!'” she said. Although the Desperate Housewives actress has had to give up her jeans for a little bit, she only has one more month to wait for her first child to arrive.
The actress is “ecstatic” about “embarking” on this new motherhood journey with husband José “Pepe” Bastón, but she does have some nerves about the entire thing — as any first-time mother would. “I don’t know anything about the mom world even though I have a lot of nieces and a lot of girlfriends with kids,” she said. “I’ve been reading, and it’s a lot of information and things to absorb.”
And although she’s now on the verge of giving birth, Eva has admitted that she got pregnant at a “difficult time” in her life. “I was so nauseous and tired,” the actress shared with Us Weekly. When she first found out she was expecting, she was right in the middle of directing an episode of the FOX comedy The Mick. “I thought they’re going to think I’m a terrible director because I’m just sleeping all the time! Every chance I got I took a nap!” Hopefully, the rest of Eva’s pregnancy is smooth sailing, even if she does have to exclusively wear maternity clothing now.
