Too Funny! Drew Scott Reveals He Invited Brother Jonathan On His Honeymoon With Linda Phan
Who said that you’re not allowed to bring your family on your honeymoon? Well, it wasn’t Drew Scott! The Property Brothers star had a very relaxing honeymoon with his wife, Linda Phan, but before he went, he asked his twin brother, Jonathan Scott, to come too.
“We just did our honeymoon last month,” Drew explained to People in a new interview about his getaway with Linda. “We went down to Ecuador with the WE organization. We were helping with them and then we were over in the Galapagos Islands.”
Though the couple had a great time in Ecuador, Drew originally wanted his Property Brothers co-star to come along too. Jonathan hilariously shared, “Can I point out they invited me to go on the honeymoon charity trip?” However, he ended up turning it down.
“I was like, no, I will be forever pegged as the worst third wheeler of all time if I go on their honeymoon,” he continued. “So I declined the offer.”
Since Drew knew that his trip with Linda wasn’t going to be as romantic as Jonathan hoped, he revealed why he extended the offer to his brother in the first place. “We were building for families with WE in the rainforest. I thought bringing a contractor along on the honeymoon…” he said before Jonathan interrupted him yelling “Awkward!” Though Drew didn’t have his honeymoon as planned with his brother, he still enjoyed being in Ecuador with Linda.
“Linda was in there with sledgehammers, shovels. It was a lot of fun and helping a lot of people,” he explained. “But it was also beautiful. Ecuador is stunning!” Maybe Drew will receive an invite when Jonathan decides that he’s ready to settle down!
