Besides being a superstar entertainer, Donny Osmond is a loving and supportive family man to his five sons! And, to prove that even more, the Donny & Marie star took to Instagram on Tuesday, January 29 to share a very special birthday message for his son Brandon who just turned 34 years old.

“Happy Birthday, Brandon! I am grateful every day that you are my son,” the 61-year-old captioned the photo of the two sweetly smiling hand-in-hand. “You and your beautiful family bring so much joy, fun and meaning to my life. I am very proud to call you ours.” Take a look at the heartwarming post below!

Brandon is one of Donny’s five children. The “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” singer also has sons Donald, 39, Jeremy, 37, Christopher, 28, and Josh, 20, with his wife of 41 years, Debbie Osmond. And if you think having five kids is a lot, Donny also has ten grandchildren! (Mayne not totally surprising considering he is one of nine Osmond siblings!)

In fact, Donny once revealed that most of the parenting skills he’s learned were from his own father and mother. “I based my parenting style on my dad at first, whom I grew very close to over the years. I think I lightened up as a dad as time went on,” the former Dancing With the Stars champion admitted to The Guardian in 2017.

Donny also added that his parents taught him “about loving your children, treating them with respect and allowing them a voice.” But it isn’t just love and appreciation that keeps the Osmond clan so close-knit. “Our religion teaches that we are bonded together in eternity, so relationships are very respectful,” he dished. “We value kindness and forgiveness.”

There’s no question that Donny is a devoted dad, but when he’s traveling for work, he knows he can always count on his wife to hold down the fort. “I am particularly grateful that my dear Debbie has been able to be home with our children and has been such a powerful and uplifting influence on each one of our family,” Donny revealed to Third Hour in 2014. “Especially in her great support of me in my crazy career that takes me away from the home so much, he said, adding that Debbie and their sons have “always been the core of my life.” So sweet!
