David Bowie is being remembered on what would have been his 70th birthday.
The late star's wife, Iman, paid a sweet tribute to her husband on social media on Sunday, Jan. 8. "Jan. 8th #ForeverLove #BowieForever," the supermodel wrote on Instagram alongside a cartoon drawing of David as a child.
David sadly died age at 69 on on Jan. 10, 2016 after an 18-month battle with liver cancer. The singer and Iman — who are parents to a 16-year-old daughter named Alexandria — married in 1992.
At the time of his unfortunate passing, it look Iman nearly a month to speak out about losing her hubby. "Love & Gratitude — Iman," the widow shared with her followers back in February 2016. Shortly after, she shared another emotional memo, which read, "Each tear is a poet, a healer, a teacher."

In a previous interview, Iman revealed the secret to her 23-year-long happy marriage with David. “You have to be at the right time in your life that you’re ready for an everlasting relationship, that it becomes first and a priority in your life,” she said. "If your career is important to you, don’t get married and have children, because something will give. I know we as women, we want to be able to have it all, but we can’t have it all at the same time. So make your priority of what you want at that time."
The 61-year-old made her first public appearance since losing David in early September 2016 when she attended the Tom Ford fashion show in NYC in a stunning in a blue velvet pantsuit!
"I am holding up. I’m holding up. Today was first day of school," she shared with Good Morning America at the time. "I’m wearing this [necklace] til my death… and it just says David. So I’ve just been wearing it since forever."
