During a new interview for an Oprah: Where Are They Now special, the 60-year-old model credited good timing for her long-lasting wedded bliss with David.
“You have to be at the right time in your life that you’re ready for an everlasting relationship, that it becomes first and a priority in your life,” she said.

"If your career is important to you, don’t get married and have children, because something will give. I know we as women, we want to be able to have it all, but we can’t have it all at the same time. So make your priority of what you want at that time," Iman continued, according to Us Weekly.
Iman and David — who sadly died on Jan. 11 at age 69 after an 18-month battle with liver cancer — married in April 1992. They later welcomed a daughter, Alexandria Zahra Jones, 15, in August 2000.
