Brooke Burke Makes PDA-Filled Red Carpet Debut With New Boyfriend Scott Rigsby
Former Dancing With the Stars host Brooke Burke is so in love with her new boyfriend, Scott Rigsby. The two made their red carpet debut at Operation Smile’s Hollywood Fight Night in Los Angeles on Wednesday, November 6.
The event, which was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, was a great night for the two lovebirds. Before they could even mingle with anyone inside, they practically spent all their time holding one another and laughing at each other’s jokes. But that’s not all — Brooke, 48, likes her new man so much that she has already introduced them to her kids.
“It’s a big deal, but it is really loving and kind, and I am really happy,” she gushed at the Women’s Guild Cedars-Sinai Annual Luncheon, according to People. “He is a sweetheart, a really sweet guy. Yesterday I used the ‘B’ word. I was like, ‘Whoa! Boyfriend?! Babe, do you want to be my boyfriend?!’ I had to change his name in my contacts to ‘Boyfriend.’”
Brooke also adores Scott’s parenting skills. Since he’s a dad of two, she doesn’t worry about how well he’ll get along with her kids. In fact, she says her children have already warmed up to him.
“It is awesome because he is a great father,” she explained. “He has two children and that is one of the things that I love most about him. He is really kind and responsible and devoted, so our kids are getting to know each other.”
Brooke shares her two children — daughters Neriah, 19, and Sierra, 17 — with her first husband, Garth Fisher, and she coparents her two other kids — daughter Heaven, 12, and son Shaya, 11 — with her second husband, David Charvet.
After the TV personality divorced David in 2018 (they were married in 2011), she opened up about their separation in a blog post she wrote for her website Modern Mom.
“You may have heard that David and I are divorcing,” she said at the time. “It is sometimes painful to be strong and embrace change. I believe in letting go of ideas and dreams when the time is right. I am in that space right now as a woman and a mother, listening to my heart. I am approaching this with gratitude and unconditional love.”
