He may be one of the most famous actors on the planet, but even Brad Pitt had to be told to stop speaking after he went over the time limit while at a courthouse recently.

Earlier this week, the 55-year-old attended a Los Angeles County hearing to advocate for increased funding to support improvements for the L.A. County Museum of Art. While giving a very passionate speech, the actor unfortunately had to be cut off by Board of Supervisors Chairman Janice Hahn for talking just a tad too long.

“It gives me great pain to say wrap it up, Mr. Pitt,” Hahn said in the hilarious video shared by TodayTake a look at it below!

“We actors suffer from verbosity,” the World War Z star joked after learning his clock had ran out. But that didn’t stop Brad from exceeding his time once again, as the court bursted into laughs at realizing his mistake.

“We only do one take here,” Hahn quipped. But the 67-year-old was not happy about what she did, as she took to Twitter to respond, saying, “Cutting Brad Pitt off when his time expired for public comment was the hardest thing I had to do all day — but rules are rules!”

And in case you missed it, Brad wasn’t the only Hollywood face there, as Diane Keaton also made an appearance, but the 73-year-old stayed within her time limit. The Fight Club costar has always been quite passionate about giving back, and he’s made no secret about that. Although when he’s not focused on those efforts, he’s busy raising his six kids — Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-olds Vivienne and Knox — that he shares with his ex, Angelina Jolie.

It is also clear that the pair are raising their children very well, as a source exclusively told Closer Weekly that the two want their kids to “be able to spend time in different environments and learn how to work as a team. They are very bright kids and definitely have an intellectual future ahead of them.”

Now if only Brad can learn not to go over his time limit!
