Blake Shelton Gushes That He And Girlfriend Gwen Stefani Are ‘Meant To Be’

As many times as Blake Shelton has turned his chair around on The Voice, we’re sure he’s glad that he and Gwen Stefani turned their chairs for each other. That reference worked, right?

Blake appeared on the Friday, Dec. 14 episode of Today in order to promote his Hallmark Christmas movie Time to Come Home for Christmas, a film he co-executive produced with his mom, Dorothy. But while Blake was all about promoting his movie, he also had no problem talking about the woman he’s been with the last three years. “Gwen and I aren’t just dating,” the 42-year-old said. “This is something that I feel like is meant to be.”

Blake and his 49-year-old girlfriend have been pretty inseparable since getting together in November of 2015, even most recently starring in a festive music video together for a song titled, “You Make It Feel Like Christmas.” Blake also added, “I’ve learned more from Gwen Stefani as a human being and how to grow as a human being than I have from anybody ever in my life. Anybody,” Blake revealed. “She’s everything that you could hope a human being could be. That’s what Gwen is.” So what we’re hearing from Blake is that love exists? Seems that way.

Gwen is head over heels for Blake as well. On Dec. 12 she also told Today how Blake is her “best friend.” She continued, “I think when there’s trauma, the way we had trauma back in the day, going through all these hard times, to get to a place where you find somebody that’s, like, your best friend that you know that you can depend on and trust and just go through life. I think we’re just trying to be in the moment as much as we can… I never thought I would get this moment, and so it’s just really special.”

Well, we always enjoy watching two people who are crazy about each other so we are all about this. But the real question remains: Does Blake use the spinning chair from The Voice at home with Gwen? These are things that people need to know.
