He thinks the world of her! Ben Affleck took some time on Sunday, May 12, to honor not only his ex-wife and the mother of his three kids, Jennifer Garner, but his own mother, Christine Anne Boldt.

“Happy Mother’s Day to the two incredible mothers who have shown me the meaning of love,” the 46-year-old captioned a photo on Instagram of the 13 Going on 30 actress laughing beside his mom. “Today I am making donations to two organizations in their honor,” he added.

The Justice League star continued and revealed the two organizations he is donating to. The first: “@cut50’s #DignityForIncarceratedWomen campaign, a national initiative to help reduce the prison population while making our communities safer,” Ben said.

The second, “@NationalBailout, an incredible organization that works with groups all over the country on Mother’s Day to bail out black moms and caregivers, provide supportive services and fellowship opportunities to help end money bail and pretrial detention.” So amazing!

“Thoughtful and kind words to the mothers in your life and generous actions. Respect,” one fan responded in the comments section. “A son, a father and a philanthropist. You have a beautiful heart and soul. Keep shining,” another added.

Ben and Jennifer, also 46, were married from 2005 to 2018. They share three kids — Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7.

She’s wonderful,” the Oscar winner once gushed to Today about his ex-wife. “I’m lucky [my kids have] got a great mom, and she helps out a great deal with making sure we coparent in as good a way as possible.”

“Somebody’s the mother of your kids, they’re going to be the most important, central part of your life, and that’s good,” he said, adding, that he also knows “Dads are so important to kids, and it’s our responsibility to be there for them, and to be present, to be mindful, to be attentive, to be part of their lives, to be as in it as moms. That’s really the central preoccupation in my life.”

What a wonderful pair!
