Oops!Someone Called Barbra Streisand’s Husband James Brolin Mr. Streisand — and She Wasn’t Having It!
Well, that’s really awkward. It’s arguable that literally everyone has heard of famed singer and actress Barbra Streisand at some point in their lives. But, what about her husband, James Brolin? Let’s just say he’s not one her fans tend to remember.
According to Life & Style, an employee working at Barb’s house accidentally referred to James as “Mr. Streisand,” leaving his wife very unhappy. “She went off on the guy,” an insider told the news outlet. “She got really riled up and let him have it.”
The source added that the Funny Girl star even took the issue to the company! She wrote a long email to them saying how she felt the worker’s comment was very disrespectful. And to no surprise, she is no longer working with the company today.

And even though James wasn’t totally upset over the comment, she still insisted on sticking up for her man! “He didn’t seem to care,” the insider said. “He just chuckled.”
This isn’t the first time she’s had troubles with her name. Just last year she realized iPhone’s Siri feature mispronounced it — so she did something about it! “I called the head of Apple, Tim Cook,” she said, noting that it said “Strei-zand” instead of the correct “Strei-sand.” “He delightfully agreed to have Siri change the pronunciation of my name, finally, with the next update on Sept. 30. So let’s see if that happens because I’ll be thrilled.” As long as it doesn’t say James Streisand!

Barbra and her hubby, James, previously wed in 1998. She was first married to Elliott Gould from 1963 until 1971, and the couple has a 50-year-old son named Jason Gould.

When Barbra and James first met, she couldn’t help but be honest with him and tell him that she didn’t like his hair! “You apparently said something about his hair, you didn’t like his hair and he knew in that moment that you were the one, he fell in love with you in that moment,” Meredith Vieira said to the star. Barbra replied, “Yeah because I told him the truth. Most people don’t tell the truth, they are afraid of the truth, but I like the truth.”
Now, after nearly 20 years of marriage, the couple is more in love than ever! When asked if they are still holding hands after all this time she replied, “Yes we are!”
