To Jennifer Lopez, family is everything. So having her boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez, win over her daughter must mean the world to her. The former MLB star shared a sweet photo on Wednesday, Dec. 26 of himself kneeling next to J.Lo’s mini-me Emme Muñiz. “Emme love before golf,” he wrote in the caption as the two spent some quality time together.

In the snap, the two can be seen arm-in-arm as they sweetly smile to the camera. Emme, 10, wore a black T-shirt, dark overalls, and boots, while A-Rod donned a navy sweater, white sneakers, and sunglasses for the duo’s outing. See the adorable pic below!

Fans of the couple were quick to express their appreciation for the adorable pic. “The epitome of a man who has it in him to love another woman’s child as his own… I’m speechless!!! It CAN happen, it does happen, but it’s rare,” one fan wrote in the comment section. “Thank you for showing other men how to love a child like they are your own. I have two stepchildren and would do anything for them. People just need LOVE and the world would be a much better place,” said another.

The golf outcoming comes one day after Jen, 49, and Alex, 43, spent a cozy Christmas together with their blended family as they wore matching, monogrammed, plaid pajamas. The holiday, which was documented on Instagram, even included J.Lo’s mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez.

The duo, who began dating in 2017, previously revealed how bringing their families together turned out so well. “I was so loving to his kids and he was so loving and accepting of mine, and they embraced each other right away,” Jen recently dished to People. “[It was] ‘I get a new bonus brother and sisters to hang out with all the time and it’s nice.'”

In fact, Jen said that she and Alex made sure their kiddos were happy and comfortable with their parents’ relationship. “2018 has really moved us to place where we feel like a real family,” Jen revealed to USA Today. “That’s nice. And it’s good enough right now.”

And Alex couldn’t agree more. “Our kids have become best friends and that keeps us both grounded and appreciative,” the former baseball player dished to People of Jen’s 10-year-old twins, Maximilian David and Emme Maribel, and his kids, Ella, 10, and Natasha, 14. “We couldn’t have asked for anything better than the four of them getting along as they do.”
