So funny! When Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin hit the red carpet together at the 2019 SAG Awards on Sunday, January 27, their four kids were nowhere to be seen. So when two red carpet reporters asked the stars what their young children were up to during the Baldwins’ date night out, the actor hilariously joked that they dropped the kids with the “valet.”

“We left them with the valet,” Alec, 60, joked about his young children, Carmen Baldwin, 5, Rafael Baldwin, 3, Leonardo Baldwin, 2, and 8-month-old baby Romeo before Hilaria, 35, pointed behind her and said, “They’re over there.”

Alec then opened up about his busy life as a working dad and said that the past couple of years have been challenging for him. “It’s been a bit of an adjustment but we’ve been married for a while and we had four kids in four years,” he said. “We’ve had to adjust to where it’s all about our kids, everything we do, both of us.”

Alec is also a father to his adult daughter, Ireland Baldwin, 23, that he welcomed with his first wife, Kim Basinger. But with so many young kids at home, Alec joked that he doesn’t get to spend as much money as he used to on himself.

“With all these kids when I make a movie now, I make no money,” he hilariously shared during a previous appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers. Alec explained that all of his money basically goes to “cover hotel bills” for himself and his family. But even though he spends a lot of money on his kids, Hilaria has admitted that sometimes she thinks about having another child.

“I think about it a lot,” Hilaria confessed on Instagram. “When I’ll have a day that’s really hard with the kids and I’m like, ‘No more kids!’ And then I have a day where they’re like really cute like this and I’m like, ‘I could have another one.’ We’ll see.”
