Pierce Brosnan is sadly mourning the loss of his dear friend Beau St. Clair after she lost her long battle with ovarian cancer this past weekend.
The 62-year-old actor and the film producer were friends for more than 30 years before her untimely death at age 63 on Saturday, Jan. 9. Pierce and Beau started the film production company, Irish DreamTime, together in 1996 and have worked side-by-side ever since.
“Beau was a beautiful woman in every way. She had style, grace, humor, intellect and a kind heart that I will forever miss," Pierce said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. "[She was] the sister I never had."
Following her passing, the Mamma Mia! star took to Instagram to pay tribute to his late friend. "Farewell my Darling Beau Marie... We made memories in the movies we made, and a deep friendship in the life we shared... into the DreamTime you go now... love and always love," he captioned a photo of himself beside Beau.
The actor previously lost both his wife, Cassandra Harris, and daughter, Charlotte Brosnan to ovarian cancer in 1991 and 2013, respectively.
