Dolly Parton is country music royalty. So it’s only fitting that the 69-year-old “Jolene” singer has spent the past several weeks at her Nashville, Tenn., home being treated like a queen by her husband of 49 years, Carl Dean, 73.
“He’s been waiting on her hand and foot,” an insider reveals to Closer — and apparently the legendary entertainer has savored every second. “Seeing Carl take care of her puts a smile on her face — she’s enjoying it!”

“Dolly had been having intense pains — she was running a fever and feeling very nauseous to the point of vomiting,” says the insider. “She went to the doctor and it didn’t take long for her to be diagnosed.”
