Gwyneth Paltrow is best known for her roles on the big screen, but the 41-year-old is increasingly becoming somewhat of a lifestyle guru, starting with her successful online newsletter “Goop,” which is talks food, fashion, and everything in between.
The actress has even begun co-hosting an online TV series called “The Restart Project” which highlights women who have changed their lives with diet and exercise and is in the process of launching a direct-to-your-door delivery service that includes her very own low-fat kale chips.
But one person who isn’t convinced of Paltrow’s influence in the lifestyle realm, business magnate Martha Stewart, who has her own lifestyle empire in the form of magazines, home goods, furniture, cookbooks and more!
The former television host was recently asked by TMZ to comment on who the better lifestyle coach is these days, her or Gwyneth?
Stewart quipped, “Lifestyle coach? 'Oh, for heaven's sake, you have to have lived to be a coach.” Does that include stints in prison?
This got us thinking, is Gwyneth becoming this generation’s Martha Stewart? Let’s see if these two have anything in common!
Martha started a catering business from her basement in 1976 with a friend, which quickly became successful. She eventually bought her partner's portion of the business.
