After years of being everyone’s favorite lifestyle guru, Martha Stewart is now worried her success is being threatened by a newcomer on the scene — Fixer Upper star Joanna Gaines. “Martha is always watching over her shoulder, checking out the latest crop of competition,” a source recently told In Touch. “[She] recognizes Joanna’s style… that’s why she secretly worries.”

Though Martha, 76, has been on TV for more than 30 years and Joanna, 39, just got her showbiz start a mere four years ago, the two already have a ton in common. According to In Touch, they both have super successful magazines — Martha’s Martha Stewart Living and Jo’s The Magnolia Journal — hit television shows, and home decor lines sold at Target, among other popular retailers. Perhaps the starkest difference between the two ladies is their net worths. Martha has amassed a whopping $300 million fortune over the years while Joanna is worth just $8 million.

While both stars currently have hit TV shows on the air, Joanna and her sidekick husband, Chip Gaines, announced they would be ending their wildly successful HGTV series Fixer Upper after its upcoming fifth season. “It is with both sadness and expectation that we share the news that Season 5 of Fixer Upper will be our last,” the couple wrote on their blog on Tuesday, Sept. 26. “While we are confident that this is the right choice for us, it has for sure not been an easy one to come to terms with. Our family has grown up alongside yours, and we have felt you rooting us on from the other side of the screen. How bittersweet to say goodbye to the very thing that introduced us all in the first place.”

Meanwhile, Martha’s VH1 show with rapper Snoop Dogg, Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, premiered in November 2016 and was an instant success. “When I watch it, it’s so funny, like that’s me there,” Martha once said of the series. “It’s a cooking show with celebrity guests and lots of funny talk, silly games, and actual recipes. And Snoop’s a good cook. Who would have thought? It’s a funny show.” No word yet on when Martha and Snoop’s show returns, but we hope it’s soon!
