What Happened to the Giradis After ‘Joan of Arcadia’ Was Canceled in 2005? — Find Out Here!

Fans of Joan of Arcadia were heartbroken when CBS announced it was canceling the American TV series in 2005 after just two seasons. The news baffled fans who fell in love and were nowhere near ready to say goodbye to the characters that put their faith in each other and in God on display every week.

So if it was that loved by viewers, why did CBS cancel the show that touched on spirituality and included God? “It was one of the toughest programming decisions we have had to make in the last couple of years because qualitatively, everyone here loved the show and was proud of the show,” Chris Ender, CBS entertainment spokesman, said at the time.

Ultimately, the show did end up being canceled because of the obvious and unfortunate ratings decline. Luckily for the stars, they all went on and picked up gigs that may have never happened if Joan of Arcadia was never canceled.
