The world is still reeling in the wake of the news that Tim Conway died at the age of 85. Among those mourning is Vicki Lawrence, who starred with him on The Carol Burnett Show throughout the show’s 11 seasons on the air.

“Hysterical, crazy, bold, fearless, humble, kind, adorable — all synonyms for Tim Conway,” a rep for the Mama’s Family actress exclusively told Closer Weekly in a statement. “I am so lucky to ever have shared a stage with him. Harvey [Korman] and Tim are together again [and] the angels are laughing out loud tonight.”

Alongside its namesake, Carol Burnett, Tim and Vicki starred alongside each other on the variety/sketch comedy from 1967-1978. Vicki was a main player the entire run while Tim was a frequent guest performer for seasons 1-8, becoming a regular for seasons 9-11. The Classic TV fixture also included Harvey (who passed in 2008), Lyle Waggoner and Dick Van Dyke.

Howard Bragman, Tim’s rep, confirmed the heartbreaking news of his death to Closer Weekly on Tuesday, May 14. The McHale’s Navy star had passed away earlier that same morning around 8:45 a.m. in the Los Angeles area.

The McHale’s Navy star suffered complications from Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) and showed no signs of dementia or Alheimer’s, People reports. He is survived by a wife of 35 years, Charlene Conway, seven children — a stepdaughter, five biological sons and one biological daughter — and two granddaughters.

Speaking about her former costar, Carol — in a statement obtained by The Hollywood Reporter — said she was “heartbroken.”

“He was one in a million, not only as a brilliant comedian but as a loving human being,” the TV legend continued. “I cherish the times we had together both on the screen and off. He’ll be in my heart forever.”

Tim’s family requests donations be made to The Lou Ruvo Brain Center at the Cleveland Clinic in Las Vegas in lieu of flowers or gifts.

Rest in peace, Tim.
