How else was he supposed to handle a category entitled "It's A Rap?"

"Jeopardy" host Alex Trebek rapped the clues during a category on Monday's episode, prompting at least one of the contestants to break their composure and burst out laughing.

"I don't know why that's making you laugh so much," Trebek jokingly replied after rapping lyrics from big names such as Dr. Dre, Notorious B.I.G., Public Enemy, and the Beastie Boys.

The typically conservative host, who began hosting the game show back in 1984, earned a few new fans after his rapping debut.

One Twitter user even wrote: "Alex Trebek is my idol. He could be the new Macklemore. Lol."
