You go, girl! TV anchor Savannah Guthrie clapped back at a hater on Twitter after the troll said that Savannah wore a “fugly” dress during the Tuesday, Nov. 20 episode of the Today show. She opted to wear a long-sleeved peach Derek Lam dress, which made her hater wonder if she, in fact, dresses herself.

“@SavannahGuthrie Don’t the producers @TODAYshow have any wardrobe standards? It’s one thing that you often wear odd choices, but today’s dress wins the prize for #FUGLY. #WhatWereYouThinking?” the follower said online. And Savannah had the best response.

“I dress myself! Don’t blame the producers!” she replied. Savannah’s friend Mindy Kaling even came to her defense and said that the morning show co-host wears lovely ensembles. “I love your outfits! Literally wish there was a website to find out what everything is,” Mindy wrote.

The social media hater’s comment has since been deleted, but Savannah went on to show that she always gets mixed reactions to her wardrobe online. She shared a photo of four of her followers commenting on her Derek Lam dress with very different opinions.

One wrote, “@SavannahGuthrie Don’t wear that dress ever again! Trust!!! Bp.” Another said, “@SavannahGuthrie New wardrobe? Love that top!” The Today co-host simply captioned the photo, “Twitter in a nutshell 😂 #love #hate.”

However, this wasn’t the first time that Savannah has had to clap back at a hater on Twitter. She previously replied to a few trolls in May, who asked the journalist if she was pregnant. Since Savannah wore a loose-fitting polka-dot dress that day, they thought that Savannah was flaunting a small baby bump.

In response to the speculation, she took to Twitter writing, “It is just the dress. Excuse me while I go burn it.” She then posted a photo to Instagram that shows when it’s OK to ask a woman if she’s pregnant. The photo showed a woman going through the different stages of pregnancy and the word “no” was written underneath each stage.

“Excuse me while I spend the rest of the day on the elliptical,” Savannah hilariously wrote in the caption to stop any pregnancy rumors. The TV anchor is already a proud mom to two kids, Vale Feldman, 4, and Charles Feldman, 1.
