She’s a brand new woman! On Wednesday, October 23, Ree Drummond took to Instagram to share a brand new pic of herself. However, this photo was a little bit different because the Pioneer Woman announced she had lost a bit of weight. And it was all because of Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale.
“We interrupt our regularly scheduled cowgirl floral attire to bring you this outside-the-elevator, slightly boho selfie,” she wrote alongside the gorgeous pic of herself. “These jeans are a size smaller than I’ve worn for (quite) awhile and even though they were skin tight (as you can probably see) and a long top was required, they buttoned.”
“I attribute this to spending the last month only allowing myself to watch a show I’ve been wanting to watch (one that I’m not going to trivialize by inserting it into this fashion and fitness post) if I did so on my rowing machine,” she continued. “It just took two full seasons for the buttoning to be successful. In other news, Elisabeth Moss is everything.”
After seeing the pic, Ree’s fans immediately took to the comments section to congratulate the food blogger on her weight loss.
“Rowing machines are amazing! You look great … congrats!,” one fan said, and another added, “YOU GO GIRL!😉🔥🙌🙌💙.” A third even wrote, “Love it mama ! You always looks gorgeous!!!!! 😘.”
With her weight loss and her cookbook, The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Recipes from an Accidental Country Girl, that was recently released, Ree has officially made 2019 her year! “It’s been really fun to come up with versions of really delicious dishes that you can take a few steps to make them lower in carbs,” she said in an April 2019 interview with People.
The mom of four has also launched her own line of different dressings and sauces that would be perfect for any parent on the go.
“You’ve got to be realistic about cooking, and you can’t make every single thing from scratch every single day, so that’s part of why I wanted to launch this line because I feel like I have so much to say in that realm,” she explained. “You can have so much fun in the kitchen and still use the products that make it a little bit easier.”
We can’t lie, Ree. You look amazing!
