With every passing day, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan‘s 5-month-old son, Archie, achieves something new. Soon he’ll be talking in full sentences and might end up ruling all of England one day, but for right now, he’s just beginning to master the art of standing up on his own.

“Archie is advanced for his age and really bright!” a source exclusively told Closer Weekly about the royal couple’s kid. “He’s a very strong baby and can now sit up without any support. He’s not old enough to stand yet, but when Meghan or Harry hold him up he moves his legs like he’s trying to walk! He’s just so cute and well behaved. They call him ‘a total blessing.'” Aww!

We can’t wait to see what type of person Archie turns into. He already appears to be a very curious individual because he’s always observing the room. “Harry jokes that Archie’s nosy because he’s always looking around to see what’s going on!” the source admitted.

Plus, their kid is finally at that age where he doesn’t wake up crying in the middle of the night. “He’s now sleeping through the night, which is a relief for the couple. When he’s in bed they enjoy spending one-on-one time together without any interruptions,” the insider revealed. “Most evenings they’ll have a nice dinner and catch up on what they’ve been up to, as well as future plans or they’ll watch a movie together. Harry and Meghan don’t rely on the nanny to put Archie to bed. They like to do it themselves.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are really hands-on parents, and lucky for them, their son doesn’t require a lot of attention. “Archie isn’t a demanding baby nor is he clingy,” the source said. “When Harry’s friends pop over to Frogmore he’ll go to them without screaming. You can tell he’s going to be a real people’s person when he’s older!”
