Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Reportedly ‘Never Loved Living In London’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are finally moving on from their Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace and instead moving to Frogmore Cottage, which was a gift from Queen Elizabeth herself. You know, the typical gift your grandmother might get you. And now that the young couple are moving to Windsor, which is about an hour away from London, we are getting reports that are revealing just how Harry and Meghan truly felt about London.

A source has told Us Weekly that while Windsor is “a very special place for them,” they “never loved living in London.” And because of that Harry and Meghan have decided to say so long to it. Another source tells the outlet that living a private life with their baby, which is set to arrive in early May, is important to them. “Family is one of the main factors behind this decision [to move],” the source reveals. “They want their children to grow up in as normal an environment as possible.”

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard that Harry and Meghan want to raise their family away from the public eye as a source recently told Daily Mail that “Harry wants to escape the goldfish bowl of royal life for the sake of his marriage and his unborn child.” The source also spoke about Harry and Meghan’s decision to move to Frogmore Cottage: “It was only decided after they returned from their recent tour to Australia and the South Pacific that Frogmore was the preferred option and plans were quickly lodged with the council to bring it up to scratch. One reason given to me is the cost of the work that would be needed to bring [Kensington Palace’s] Apartment 1 up to scratch.”

“Frogmore, which is inside the Windsor security zone [where the main house is only open to the public for a couple of days a year] is secluded, peaceful, tranquil and, most importantly, private. No one will see them coming or going,” the source added.

Well you can’t blame Harry and Meghan, who are one of the most famous people on the planet, to want to try and have a relatively normal and private life. As difficult as that may be for them.
