She is positively glowing! Meghan Markle hit the stage at the 2018 Fashion Awards at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Monday, Dec. 10 and the pregnant Duchess of Sussex showed off her growing baby bump in a stunning black Givenchy dress at the special event.

So why exactly did Meghan, 37, make a surprise appearance at the award show? Prince Harry‘s wife stepped out to present the designer of her royal wedding dress, Clare Waight Keller of Givenchy, with the British Womenswear Designer of the Year honor. “It is such an honor to be here celebrating British fashion and British fashion designers in my new home of the UK,” Meghan said on-stage while standing beside English actress Rosamund Pike.

A source close to Meghan recently told Life & Style magazine that the Duchess is a bit “nervous” to welcome her first child and is turning to her royal sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, for advice. “Meghan is nervous about the birth and has also been turning to Kate for tips on how to deal with balancing royal life with being a mom,” the source said. “After having three children, Kate is a pro at motherhood and has been advising Meghan on what lies ahead.”

While his wife is expecting, Harry is also reportedly “glowing” with happiness. “Harry is glowing. He is ready to be a dad. [He] has always been an attentive husband, but more so than ever now that he’s going to be a dad. The pregnancy has only strengthened their marriage,” a source shared, adding that Harry “has made sure to stock up on the food Meghan’s craving: Cadbury’s chocolate, fruit, and anything spicy!” So cute!

Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, reportedly “can’t wait” to welcome another baby into her royal family, too. “Queen Elizabeth can’t wait. She has already splashed out on adorable baby clothes and toys and is keeping a close eye on Meghan, who she’s developed a special bond with,” the source shared.

And Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland, is allegedly super excited about becoming a first-time grandma as well! “Doria can’t wait to be a grandmother and is moving to help her daughter after the birth. Meghan has been hunting for a townhouse in Kensington and Chelsea for her mom,” the insider said.
