Padma Lakshmi’s 8-Year-Old Daughter Krishna Is Her Famous Mom’s Mini-Me In New Pics

It might be cold in NYC, but that doesn’t stop Padma Lakshmi from hitting the Soho streets! The Top Chef star was spotted during the chilly afternoon on Sunday, Dec. 9 running errands with her daughter, Krishna Lakshmi-Dell, and the new pics of the lookalike mother-daughter duo are too cute!

In the snapshots, Padma and Krishna, 8, can be seen covered up in warm clothing as they brace themselves for the cold weather. The 48-year-old beauty previously welcomed daughter Krishna with her ex-boyfriend Adam Dell back in 2010 about a year after the couple called it quits in 2009. Later, the venture capitalist, also 48, sued the cookbook author over custody of their little girl.

Fast forward nearly eight years later and Padma and Adam are reportedly in a great place today and even rekindled their romance last year! “Padma and Adam are doing really well,” a source told Us Weekly in October. “They are closer than they’ve ever been this second time around and can be so honest with each other. It’s obvious Padma is very comfortable with him. They have a very close and loving relationship.”

However, Padma has also confessed that she will probably never marry again. “That has nothing to do with him; it has more to do with me,” Padma told Wendy Williams in April of her novelist ex-husband, Salman Rushdie. “I don’t feel I need to be married. I think my life is great… I don’t need a certificate to prove anything.”

Perhaps hangin’ with her mini-me sounds more appealing — and if it means we get to see more pics of the adorable mother-daughter duo, we’re all for it!
