She’s learning! Last year, royal fans got their first look at Meghan Markle curtsying for Queen Elizabeth, and this year, they got that same treat again — but this time even better.

The Duchess of Sussex was photographed alongside her husband, Prince Harry, at the Christmas Day service at St. Mary Magdalene Church at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, England on Tuesday, Dec. 25. In the pics, she was perfectly curtsying for the British monarch, 92. A curtsy is right foot behind left, knees bent, upper body straight (don’t confuse it with the Duchess slant).

Meg, 37, wore an all-black ensemble for the outing. The pregnant royal looked stunning in her black dress, black trenchcoat, and black leather boots. She topped off the look with a matching black hat and purse.

While Meghan is expected to curtsy for the Queen, she’s also expected to curtsy for Prince Philip, Prince Charles, and Camilla Parker Bowles. On top of that, she’ll one day bow for Prince William and Kate Middleton considering they’re the future King and Queen of England.

Last year, Meghan had Kate by her side to teach her all the ins and outs of curtsying for the Queen. Despite rumors of an alleged feud this year, Meg and the Duchess of Cambridge were all smiles together during the church service, and we imagine Kate gave her sister-in-law a few curtsying tips to perfect it this year.

Though this is Meghan’s first royal Christmas since she married Harry back in May, the former Suits actress also attended the Queen’s holiday festivities in 2017 when she was just engaged to Harry. Her third Christmas with the royal family will be extra special next year, as it will be her and Harry’s first baby’s first one! We can’t wait…
