When it comes to inspiring quotes, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry didn’t have to look very far when deciding which to share first on their Instagram. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex delighted fans with a famous line from none other than Princess Diana on Friday, August 9.

“Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you,” their latest Instagram post reads. The quote is editorialized in white font on a blue background alongside Meghan and Harry’s shared monogram.

“Words have the power to inspire, which is why we’re happy to share some of our favorite quotes,” the royal couple wrote in the caption. “From members of the public to public figures, from teachers and students to young leaders, we begin with a quote from Diana, Princess of Whales.”

This comes just a few days after Meghan, 38, and Harry, 34, unfollowed everyone on Instagram — something they do every month — and asked their more than nine million followers to help them decide who they should follow this month. Fans didn’t disappoint and now the couple follow 15 new accounts.

“Each month, we change the accounts we follow to highlight various causes, people or organizations doing amazing things for their communities and the world at large,” the duo said at the time. “For the month of August we look to you for help. We want to know who YOUR Force for Change is.”

This is by no means the first time Meghan and Harry have had Diana’s memory at the forefront of how they’re living their lives. Recently, a royal insider exclusively told Closer Weekly she is playing a part in how Harry wants to raise Archie, his first child with Meghan. “Diana was a fantastic mom and very hands-on,” they revealed, noting that he “wants to follow in her footsteps when it comes to raising Archie — always being there for him and giving him a loving, normal upbringing.”

Our hearts skip a beat every time the royal family honors Diana’s memory — and this is no different.
