What a nice night of father-son bonding! Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker‘s son, James Wilkie Broderick, was recently spotted hanging out with his dad at a basketball game — and the 16-year-old looks all grown up in the new pics!

On Sunday, February 2, James and his 56-year-old dad headed to Madison Square Garden in New York City to watch the hometown New York Knicks take on the Memphis Grizzlies. And even though they were watching two of the worst teams in the league, the pair still seemed to have a lot of fun during their night out! See the new photos of James and his famous dad below!

During the game, the actor was seen rocking red corduroy slacks and a dark-colored shirt while his son enjoyed the sights in a pair of gray jeans and a black turtleneck. Matthew and James aren’t seen together in public a ton, so it was nice seeing the duo acting like some regular fans of the game, even if the Knicks did lose … again.

James isn’t the only child that the Ferris Bueller’s Day Off star and his wife  — who tied the knot back in 1997 — have as they also share twin daughters Marion Broderick and Tabitha Broderick, both 9.

Last November, the Sex and the City actress, 53, sat down with People to reveal how she and Matthew have kept their love alive after more than 20 years of marriage and specifically recalled one moment they recently shared that reignited their romance. “We found ourselves alone. We went away but we didn’t plan it,” SJP told the outlet. “It just happened because our son was away on a trip and our daughters were otherwise engaged and we ended up alone. It was so amazing. It was really fun.”

Sarah Jessica also talked about how she and her husband always find time to enjoy each other’s company. “We love going to the theater, we love eating, we love being with our friends!” she explained. “It’s those times that are few and far between because [of our] work and kids’ schedules, but we’re happy.”

What a lovely family!
