There have been more change for Matt Lauer. The disgraced Today star has allegedly sold his Manhattan apartment nine months after being abruptly fired from the talk show following sexual harassment allegations.

“It was listed for $7.35 million. The actual sale price is unknown. The apartment went into contract about a month after it was listed on April 24th, but the transaction has now officially closed,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.

According to Page Six, Matt actually made more on the deal than he expected, however, since the Upper East Side co-op is equipped with 11 bedrooms, four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, a living room, dining room, and corner library, we’re not surprised someone hopped on the luxury NYC pad. Street Easy has reported that Matt and his estranged wife, Annette Roque, paid $5.8 million for the house in 2004.

And that wasn’t the only piece of property Matt has tried to get rid of. In a recent interview, the 60-year-old opened up about the troubles he’s faced trying to sell a piece of land he owns in New Zealand.

“I don’t think I’m being a conspiracy theorist here, or paranoid, but I believe the groups are in some ways, unfortunately, taking advantage of some difficult times I’ve been through over the past six months and I think they see me as an easy mark,” he shared. “I believe they think that New Zealanders are going to find some outrage there. I will tell people they don’t know the circumstances of that situation. I promise you. I’m not at liberty to talk, nor do I want to talk about that. But they’re choosing this fight for a reason. This is why this fight was chosen now.”

Since Matt’s termination, he’s reportedly been living in the Hamptons and was recently spotted in new pics looking happy while paddleboarding in the ocean. We’re not sure what’s next for Matt, but now that he’s sold his Manhattan home, we’re guessing that could mean a Today comeback isn’t happening anytime soon…
