For Leeza Gibbons, her home away from home is her nearby office, a West Hollywood house she and her manager-hubby share.

“We’ve both worked on studio lots and in high-rise executive suites, so this was a deliberate choice to be more sane about business,” Leeza shares with ‘Closer.’ “To me, your work is your life and if you love it like we do, it’s an effortless merging of the two energies. We wanted a space to represent that.”

The former ‘Entertainment Tonight’ and ‘Leeza’ host loves the 89-year-old house’s “old-world charm and ‘Leave It to Beaver’ innocence,” and while she mostly goes there to work, it’s much more than an office: Her eldest son, Troy, 22, lives in the guesthouse on the 5,000-square-foot grounds.

The result? A three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bath, 2,000 square-foot house they almost moved into. “We talked about it during construction on our main home, but our son Nathan goes to Beverly Hills High, so we decided to stay in Beverly Hills.”

Leeza – who did all the decorating herself – says the home’s style “represents a lot of both Steven’s and my personalities. I’m a small-town girl from the South, and Steven is Beverly Hills born and raised. Those are two very different expressions of life, but we actually are very much the same when it comes to our values.”
