Her son may only be a toddler, but Kelly Clarkson is already hearing wedding bells! The American Idol winner recently revealed she wants to set up son Remington, 3, with John Legend and Chrissy Teigen‘s 3-year-old daughter, Luna.

“My little boy, I told Chrissy, I want to marry Luna. They would make the most beautiful babies,” Kelly, 37, jokingly dished to ET while backstage at The Voice. “Their skin tones, their eye color, I’m like, ‘What would that baby look like?'” the Grammy-winning performer gushed. “They probably think I’m weird. Definitely, they probably think I’m weird.”

Kelly — who is also the mom to daughter River Rose, 4, with husband Brandon Blackstock — added that the two kiddos would mesh well thanks to their similar upbringings. “I think it’s fun to have other kids that kinda grow up in an environment … it’s not normal,” the blonde beauty explained. “You know, it’s not like an everyday scenario, like how we all grew up. So I like that they at least get people to hang out with every once in a while … with the same kinda vibe to where they don’t feel weird.”

The “Piece by Piece” songstress got the great idea after John, 40, joined longtime coaches Kelly, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton — this spring for the sixteenth season of the famed NBC series. The “All of Me” singer, who is also the dad to son Miles, 11 months, shared the exciting news of the gig on social media last September.

“I’m thrilled to join the coaches of [The Voice],” John wrote in an Instagram post. “I’ve been a guest and mentor on the show multiple times and I’m so excited to discover talented singers and help them make the most of their gift. I hope the world is ready for #TeamJL.”

Both Kelly and John have shared adorable pics of their kiddos visiting them on set, so there’s no doubt that Remington and Luna are getting some play time in behind the scenes. Although John has yet to share whether he approves or not, it looks like we’re just going to have to stay tuned!
