Batman Begins actress Katie Holmes has been glowing ever since she and boyfriend Jamie Foxx went public with their relationship at the 2019 Met Gala. Now, just a few weeks after having had the time of their lives at the NYC event, Katie was spotted taking her 13-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise, out for a day trip in Manhattan.

“Suri loves Jamie, he makes her laugh and he’s a really good influence on her,” an insider recently told Closer Weekly about Suri’s bond with Katie’s beau. “He has daughters so he knows how to talk to girls about what’s going on, he really gets deep with her about school and boys and bullies, which Katie loves.”

Jamie shares daughter Corinne Foxx, 25, with ex Connie Kline and daughter Annalise Bishop, 9, with former flame Kristin Grannis. Even though Suri will always have a special bond with dad Tom Cruise, she and Jamie have grown to be quite fond of each other.

Suri and Jamie aren’t the only ones who have a special connection. Katie also gets along great with the Ray actor’s kids. “She spends time with them even when Jamie’s not there and they have dinner dates. Both girls get along really well with Katie. She’s been in Annalise’s life since she was really young so they are especially tight,” a source noted to People.

Now that Katie and Jamie’s relationship is out in the open, everything has been going great for Suri’s mom. “Katie was so happy to finally embrace her relationship with Jamie,” an insider revealed to Closer Weekly. “It was a great feeling for Katie to be out in the open, not having to hide their years-long romance any longer. This is a great sign of things to come.”

Who knows? Jamie and Katie may even tie the knot one day soon since they get along so well. “Their relationship seems so much more serious this year,” another insider told People. We agree!
