Talk about fashion inspiration! Katie Holmes stepped out looking flirty in floral while attending the American Ballet Theatre 2019 Spring Gala at the Metropolitan Opera House in NYC on Sunday, May 20. The Batman Begins star — who has attended the annual gala for the past few years — also hosted the event alongside co-chairs Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin.

The 40-year-old beauty is no stranger to the prestigious event — which helps raise funds for the American Ballet Theatre, including its education and outreach programs. In 2017, Katie opened up about how fortunate she feels to be apart of the event. “[Being a gala co-chair] means a lot to me because I’m a huge fan of the American Ballet Theatre and I know what goes into being a dancer and a ballerina,” the actress gushed to Avenue. “I am very excited to support … I have such great respect. You can’t fake it as a dancer.”

The brunette beauty brought her spring style to the event, donning a gorgeous floral gown with a black collar. The dress also featured mid-length sleeves and double hem. Katie tied the look together with black lace peep-toe heels and a matching purse with red accents.

Although she and Jamie Foxx just made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2019 Met Gala in early May, Katie left her boyfriend at home. Instead, she attended the annual event with her mother, Kathleen Holmes. So sweet!
