Since Prince George and Princess Charlotte have been working so hard at school, their mom, Kate Middleton, decided to treat them by taking her two eldest kids on a luxurious spa date during their half-term break from school.

A royal onlooker reportedly told the Daily Mail that the Duchess of Sussux, 37, went to the swimming pool at the spa with George, 5, and Charlotte, 3, wearing “full makeup, pearl earrings and her iconic engagement ring.” Apparently, she left her 10-month-old baby, Prince Louis, at home because he’s too young to go swimming.

Prince William has also been spending time with his kids during their break from school and you can bet that Charlotte has been spending all of her free time with her mom baking delectable snacks. “Charlotte’s favorite pastime is baking cakes,” an insider recently told Closer Weekly. “She has her own little apron and follows Kate around the kitchen.”

When Kate visited London’s Lavender Primary School for Children’s Mental Health Week on Tuesday, February 5, she apparently told the school’s staff that Charlotte and George have been learning how to cook. “She was telling us how much her children love cooking and how they cook for her. They made cheesy pasta the other day. One stirs the flour, one puts the milk and butter in. And they make salads and stuff. Food is important to her and she understands the links between mental health and physical exercise,” Matthew Kleiner-Mann, chief executive of the Ivy Learning Trust recently told reporters at the event.

“She was wonderful with the children and was keen to speak to the parents about how food helps with their mental well-being too,” he continued. “She was very interested in our discussion about how food can change moods.” Looks like Kate is teaching her kids how to make healthy meals at home!
