How sweet! Kate Hudson and her boyfriend, Danny Fujikawa, welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Rani Rose, in early October, and according to an OK! Magazine source, their “daughter has really brought them closer.”

In fact, they’re allegedly so close that they’re considering taking the next steps in their relationship. “They’re definitely talking about getting married, and may do it around the holidays in Aspen, where they’ll spend Christmas with Kate’s family,” the source said. “They both feel that life has never been better.”

Kate, 39, and Danny, 32, met 16 years ago through Sara and Erin Foster, who are Danny’s stepsisters and Kate’s best friends, however, they didn’t start dating until last year. They previously revealed they were expecting their baby girl in April.

And since their bundle of joy was born, they’re adjusting to being parents together very well, especially because Danny is a huge help! “When diapers need changing or Rani needs rocking, Danny is right there,” the source told the news outlet. “Kate knows how lucky she is. The insider also noted that “Danny loves singing Rani to sleep” and “he’s pretty slick with the diapers too.”

But when things get busy, Kate is lucky to have her two sons, Ryder, 14, with her ex-husband, Chris Robinson, and Bingham, 7, with her ex-fiancé, Matt Bellamy. “They’re having fun entertaining Rani,” the source said of the big brothers. “And [they’re] even helping out with small tasks around the house. They’re adjusting very well.”

But like any family dynamic, it’s not always easy. “There are challenging moments, but Kate loves being a mom and is good at it,” the insider revealed. “It gets really hectic at her house, but fortunately, Kate has the stamina to handle those 4 a.m. feedings, then get up early to oversee her boys’ breakfast.” She’s so lucky to have Danny, Ryder, and Bingham by her side during this exciting time!
