Most families have a holiday tradition that they like to do every year — but Pretty Woman actress Julia Roberts and her cute crew have lots of traditions! When Julia recently appeared on SiriusXM’s Entertainment Weekly Radio showshe listed everything that she likes to do with her loved ones during the holiday season and said that they start off Christmas day by opening all their gifts together.

“Nobody goes into the living room until everybody goes into the living room,” Julia, 51, shared. And once everyone is there, Julia explained she likes to relax by watching her two favorite holiday movies, It’s a Wonderful Life and A Charlie Brown Christmas.

The mother-of-three added that she always looks forward to her family’s delicious Christmas meals, too. “I do enjoy the practical challenge of Christmas morning mealtime because you don’t want too much, you don’t want to spoil them off the bat,” she explained. “You want to keep a steady blood level going where you don’t get crazy before the big meal.”

When the doting mom is in the kitchen, she likes to make her son Henry Moder, 11, and her 14-year-old twins, Hazel and Phinnaeus Moder, her signature dish, which she described as “biscuits and sausage balls or something like that.” She also likes to put a little bit of fruit on the plate, too. Yummy!

As for the actress’ guilty pleasure, she appears to have the same one as old St. Nick. Julia said that “eating cookies for breakfast before I wake up my kids and tell them they can’t have cookies for breakfast” is a habit that she’s been trying to kick for a long time now.

For Julia’s family, Christmas has always been a great time of the year for gift giving. But since Julia has given so many great presents over the years, she said that she couldn’t recall the best present that she’s ever given someone. “God, what would it be… I consider myself a rather good gift giver,” she said. “But I couldn’t say. Something I made probably.” Julia’s kids probably get the best presents every year!
