He’s telling us how he really feels! New Jersey rocker Jon Bon Jovi slammed modern celebrity culture and he also criticized reality TV stars like Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian and the ladies of Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise. Jon explained why he doesn’t think that today’s reality stars deserve their celebrity status during an interview with Lisa Wilkinson on The Sunday Project.

“I think it’s horrific that we live in that world and I can tell you I’ve never given 60 seconds of my life, EVER, to one of those Housewives of Blah Blah and Kardashians,” the 56-year-old ranted about the hit reality TV franchise, according to the Daily Mail. “I don’t know their names, I’ve never watched 60 seconds of the show, it’s not for me.”

The “Livin’ On A Prayer” singer also took aim at celebrity and reality star Kim Kardashian — whose infamous rise to fame started in 2007 after the leak of a sex tape featuring her then-boyfriend, R&B singer Ray J.

“What’s gonna be in your autobiography? ‘I made a porno and guess what I got famous.’ F–k, sorry, I’ll pass,” Jon said.

He went on to complain that many of today’s celebrities aren’t famous because they are talented musicians, artists, dancers, singers or actors but because they are simply on a reality TV show.

“Go and write a book, paint a painting, act, study, sing, play write,” the Bon Jovi rocker said. “Fame is a byproduct of writing a good song.”

Jon rose to fame in the 1980s with his rock band Bon Jovi. The group has a long and successful career as they released 13 studio albums and have toured the world performing their hits like “You Give Love A Bad Name,” “Runaway,” and “It’s My Life.” Jon and his longtime friend and co-songwriter Richie Sambora were honored in 2009 when they were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
