What a show! Jennifer Lopez had the crowd cheering and yelling nonstop during her killer performance for the Motown tribute at the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 10. The tribute, lead by the singer, welcomed others to the stage like Smokey Robinson and Ne-Yo.

Earlier this month, the Recording Academy announced the 49-year-old would be heading up the Motown tribute at the Grammys alongside her fellow performers. Throughout the entire performance, Jen rocked a plethora of outfits as she sang Motown songs such as “Square Biz,” “Please Mr. Postman,” “Dancing in the Street” and “My Girl,” among other timeless hits. Just hours before her mind-blowing performance, Jen hit the red carpet alongside her loving boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez. Talking to Ryan Seacrest, the “Jenny From The Block” singer gushed about her highly anticipated performance.

“I’m super excited, humbled that they asked me to do it. You know, I want to dedicate this performance to my mom because this is the music that we listen to our living room, me and my mom,” the brunette beauty gushed. “I have three sisters, so the [four] of us would be sitting there listening to the Temptations, the Supremes, everyone.”

Jennifer even said the music made a huge impact on her. “My mom, this was her music and I grew up on it. This and musicals. I think that’s why I am the performer that I am today and I think because of that music and that time and because of my mom,” she gushed. So sweet!
