It’s never too late to start a family! Since Jennifer Aniston isn’t known to be dating anyone after her second divorce, the 49-year-old actress is reportedly thinking about having a baby on her own. “Jen is in an amazing place in her life,” an insider recently told Life & Style Weekly in the magazine’s latest issue, on newsstands now.

“Jen has done a lot of soul-searching,” the source added, referring to Jen focusing on herself after her two failed marriages to Brad Pitt, 55, and Justin Theroux, 47. “She’ll be the first one to admit that she wasn’t ready to become a mom when she was with Brad and it just didn’t work out with Justin. But she has come to realize that she’s better off having a child by herself. She has the means to adopt or get a surrogate,” the insider said.

Jen is reportedly still making up her mind about how she wants to start her family and realizes that there’s also still the option of giving birth herself. After all, Janet Jackson gave birth to her first child, Eissa, in 2017 at age 50. And since Jen’s “career is thriving and she’s got some fantastic friends” she allegedly thinks now is the right time to start the next chapter in her life and raise a child. “Jen doesn’t feel like she needs a man in her life to feel complete,” the source said. Sounds like Jennifer’s ready to do it all on her own!

“Who knows what the future holds in terms of a child and a partnership — how that child comes in or doesn’t,” Jennifer said about having kids in a recent interview with Elle. “And now with science and miracles, we can do things at different times than we used to be able to.” Jen admitted that she always thought that having kids was “kind of frightening” for her but we have no doubt that she’d be a great mom if she chooses to have children!
