YAS, Grace Jones! The 70-year-old supermodel was the talk of the town when she hit the runway at the Tommy Hilfiger X Zendaya TommyNow show during Paris Fashion Week on Saturday, March 2. The icon closed the show to her classic hit song “Pull Up To The Bumper” wearing a gold bodysuit with matching thigh-high boots and a striped blazer. And when Grace appeared onstage, the audience could barely control their excitement.

They began to cheer and clap for the famed singer who kept tossing her hair back and forth as she strutted down the catwalk. Tyra Banks was even spotted in the audience and she posted a photo to Instagram of herself looking completely amazed by Tommy Hilfiger‘s wonderful show which included all black models.

“You see my face. I am in Paris. Watching so many fierce black women from all generations of modeling represent our beauty during the #TommyNow show! Some of the newbies are my [America’s Next Top Model] babies!! I am so proud of Mizz Designer @Zendaya!” she penned the caption on March 2.

Tommy’s runway show with Zendaya, 22, was inspired by fashion in the ’70s and early ’80s and, during that time period, Grace was winning over everyone’s hearts in America as a rising artist in the disco scene. During Paris Fashion Week, the supermodel was joined on the runway with other icons who paved the way for black models and designers in the industry such as Pat Cleveland, Beverly Johnson and Veronica Webb.

Although Grace had a lot of fun at the Tommy Hilfiger X Zendaya TommyNow fashion show, she previously told The Guardian that she’s happy that she’s not modeling full-time anymore. “I’m glad I’m not doing it now. I’d probably be dead,” she admitted. “Everybody’s so skinny. Size zero is like the walking dead. Not sexy at all. When I modeled, I would normally be a model size six, eight, though my shoulders are wide, it’s hard to make them fit into things. Now I can’t get into model sizes, because they’re really small.”
