Congratulations are in order! Gabrielle Union, 46, and her husband Dwyane Wade, 36, welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world via surrogate on Wednesday, Nov. 7. The couple shared the happy news and first photos of their yet-to-be-named baby girl with their fans on social media and they looked completely in love in all of the new pics.

“We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days. Welcome to the party sweet girl,” Dwyane and Gabrielle both wrote online.

The Being Mary Jane actress even added a couple of lyrics from Bill Withers’ song “Lovely Day” to her post about her new baby girl. “When I wake up in the mornin’ love and the sunlight hurts my eyes, and there’s something without warning, love bears heavy on my mind. Then I Iook at you and the world’s alright with me. Just one look at you and I know it’s gonna be a lovely day. A lovely day,” she quoted.

Gabrielle and Dwyane received a lot of love online shortly after making their announcement. Dwayne’s basketball team, the Miami Heat, even made the couple’s tiny daughter a cute little onesie that she can wear around the house and possibly to their games in the future.

In Gabrielle’s memoir, We’re Going to Need More Wine, she previously noted how hard it was for her to conceive a child and the emotional toll that it took on her family. “I have had eight or nine miscarriages,” she wrote. “For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant — I’ve either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle.”

Gabrielle added that she started to want kids of her own after she became a stepmom to her husband’s three children, Zaire Wade, 16, Zion Wade, 11, and Xavier Wade, 4. In the book, she wrote that she and her hubby “remain bursting with love and ready to do anything to meet the child we’ve both dreamed of.” We can only imagine the amount of joy that Dwyane and Gabrielle must be feeling right now!
