Hitting the beach with her new baby, Santiago Bastón, and her husband, José Bastón, was at the top of Eva Longoria‘s to-do list on Tuesday, April 23. The family spent some time away from the city and caught some sun at Shellona Beach in St Barths before Eva and her hubby took their little baby for a walk on the sand.

Since Eva gave birth to baby Santiago 10 months ago, she’s been carrying him around everywhere she goes. “Y’all like my new carry on?” the 44-year-old star previously joked on Instagram alongside a pic of Santiago sitting on her suitcase. “Best travel partner ever, even though this face doesn’t say that!”

Eva has even taken Santiago to work with her and she just wrapped up shooting her new movie, Dora and the Lost City of Gold. “He’s always with me,” Eva previously revealed to Us Weekly. “The great thing about the work I do is that I’m able to do that. I’m really grateful. I get to take Santiago to work every day.”

Having a new baby at home has really changed Eva for the better. “It’s amazing,” she previously gushed to Us Weekly. “Every cliché has come true, but it’s wonderful. I’m really lucky to have such a good boy.”

Even though Eva has been spending as much time as possible with her baby, she admits that she doesn’t get enough moments with him. “He’s growing too fast,” she shared via Instagram on Saturday, March 9, and used the hashtag “#StandingAlready.” Don’t worry, Eva! Santiago is just a fast learner!

When Santiago gets older, Eva doesn’t want him to just understand women. She wants him to respect them too. “Women are equal to men,” she previously told Us Weekly. “It’s about showing him. He wants to emulate what I’m doing, so I think it’s important for us to walk the walk.”

José has also been a great dad to baby Santiago. “He’s an amazing father to his three older children [from his previous marriage to Natalia Esperón], so I knew that he’d be amazing with Santi,” Eva admitted.

It’s hard not to notice how amazing Eva looks after welcoming Santiago into her life almost a year ago. She says she got her post-baby body back by just taking it easy. “I really gave my body time to adjust to postpartum and post-pregnancy,” she shared to Us Weekly in a previous interview. “You know, it had a baby! It created a human life, so I really wasn’t too hard about getting back into shape.”
