Actor Danny DeVito has been in the news for the strangest reasons lately. Danny’s name first popped up in the news last week after everyone saw the Detective Pikachu trailer and began wishing it was Danny who would have voiced the popular Pokémon and not Ryan Reynolds. And now this time the 74-year-old is in the news because some students at SUNY Purchase decided to make a hidden shrine of Danny in a bathroom. Yes, this is a real thing.

Just take a look at the glorious shrine here.

What? Why? In fact, it is so bizarre and out there that it actually caught the attention of the It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia actor.

“Your shrine honors me,” Danny later responded in a tweet. “My heart is filled with love and garbage. Tomorrow, as you may know, is my name day. Do something that makes you feel good. Above all be kind to each other. Pick up trash, recycle, and be aware of plastics in the ocean.”

Leave it to good old Danny to take this situation and use it to spread a positive message. That is why he is worthy of this creepy as all sin shrine. But it does seem that Danny is flattered in a way. I mean, who wouldn’t be flattered? These students actually took time out of their busy school day to hide a shrine in the wall.

And sure, maybe their parents are paying for their education, but at least their money is going to something worthwhile. And hey, Danny is worth it. Remember when Danny actually sucked snake poison out of his friend Michael Douglas’ hand?

“I always heard the best thing to do is suck the poison out, right away, so I did,” Danny recently revealed. “I grabbed his hand and I’m spitting all over the place, and I say, ‘Boy, it’s a good thing this didn’t bite you on the balls man because you would’ve been a dead man!’”

What a saint.
