Friends star Courteney Cox just went through a very scary experience when a private plane bound for Mexico carrying the actress, her BFF Jennifer Aniston and a few others was forced to have an emergency landing after the aircraft lost a tire during takeoff at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday, February 15. But instead of being totally shaken up by the whole ordeal, Courteney, 54, decided to have a little fun on Instagram and post a pic of herself next to one of the plane’s tires.

On the photo — which was posted on Courteney’s Instagram Story — she wrote, “Hang in there little buddy” underneath a prayer hands emoji. Check out Courteney’s cheeky photo poking fun at the plane’s emergency landing below!

According to Radar Online, Courteney boarded the plane with a few of her girlfriends including Jen, Amanda Anka and Jimmy Kimmel‘s wife, Molly McNearney, to celebrate Jennifer’s 50th birthday in Cabo San Lucas. But the girls’ vacation plans were, unfortunately, put on hold after the private plane’s crew was told to circle for hours until it was deemed safe for them to land at California’s Ontario International Airport so the ladies could board another flight.

Thankfully, no one was hurt during the incident and the women still made it to Cabo to celebrate Jen’s second birthday bash. Her first party was on Saturday, February 9 at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood and a lot of A-listers attended the party including Gwyneth PaltrowReese WitherspoonKate Hudson, Barbra Streisand, and Jen’s ex-husband Brad Pitt.

According to Us Weekly, Jen was “happy” that Brad was able to make it and a source at the party said that most guests “were surprised to see Brad there and were making a big deal of it.” The insider added that Jen “spoke to Brad briefly” and “hugged him and thanked him for coming” to her special party. What a fun birthday month for Jennifer!
