Courteney Cox Shares Adorable Throwback Photo of Herself With Daughter Coco — Check It Out!
They grow up so fast! Courteney Cox took it to Instagram recently to share quite the fantastic throwback photo of her and her daughter, Coco Arquette.
The 54-year-old, who just joined the social media platform, has been sharing some great pictures lately, including a blast from the past. The Friends alum put up a photo of a younger Coco, with the caption, “#tbt when she used to like me.” See it below!
Her fans were loving it of course, as the comments poured in. “Awe but we all like you,” one user said, with another adding, “I am trying to enjoy my girls being little, I always tell them when they get older they won’t like me.” One person added, “They get back to liking you at 25 … lol.”
Courteney shares her daughter, 14, with her ex-husband, David Arquette. The pair were married from 1999 to 2013, and while the Cougar Town star did not go on to have more kids, David, 47, had a son named Charlie West in 2014 with his current wife, journalist Christina McLarty. The two may not be a couple anymore, but coparenting has not been an issue at all thanks to a general respect for one another.
“Divorce is so painful for everybody involved — it’s a waste of time and money [to fight],” the Ready to Rumble star once exclusively told Closer Weekly at the Be Social for Justice Gala in New York City. He continued “Anybody who’s going to put on boxing gloves when they get a divorce is making the wrong move.”
The former lovebirds met on the set of the 1996 film Scream. David added, “We just respect each other. No matter what people go through, you still have a child together.” The actor also makes sure that Coco understands this one key thing: “It’s important that your child knows you respect each other.”
