Congratulations are in order for Chrissy Teigen‘s 9-month-old son, Miles Stephens, who is now officially helmet-free! The Lip Sync Battle host took to Twitter on Wednesday, March 13, to share the good news after the adorable newborn was forced to wear a helmet to help fix his “misshapen head” since this past December.
“Such a trooper for three months of helmet,” the proud mom wrote alongside a video she shared of the two. “Happy graduation, Miles!” In the cute clip, Chrissy, 33, and her only son are seen snuggling on the couch as she excitedly gushes about the great news. “Happy helmet-free day! No more helmet, no more helmet,” the brunette beauty repeated as Miles babbled. Take a look at the adorable video below!

Fans of the Cravings: Hungry for More author couldn’t wait to share their congratulations with the mother and son duo. In fact, moms even began replying to Chrissy’s tweet with pics of their kids before and after getting their helmets off too! “Congrats Miles! We are super excited to be done with the helmet too — no more stinky helmet head sweat,” one fan wrote to the socialite. “We had the helmet on our baby too. This was three months ago, but it is was worth the hassle,” said another.
Chrissy first revealed that Miles needed to wear a helmet to shape his head when she took to Instagram after Thanksgiving time. “Baby Miles getting fitted for a little helmet today for his adorable slightly misshapen head,” she wrote in social media post from December 3. “So if you see pictures, don’t feel bad for him because he’s just fixing his flat and honestly he’s probably gonna be even cuter with it somehow.”
The mom-of-two — who also has a 2-year-old daughter named Luna — even had humor about the harmless situation as she shared a few more photos of Miles wearing his helmet at the time. “GUYS,” she wrote alongside one photo and captioned the other with weary face and heart-eyed emojis. “I have been told it’s too late for my head,” Chrissy quipped.
Baby Miles has been reaching milestones left and right lately. Besides graduating from the helmet, the adorable tot is getting “sooooo close” to crawling! The other day, Chrissy shared a clip of her little bundle of joy scooting his body across the floor as her hubby, John Legend, encouraged him to keep going. “C’mon, Miles, c’mon,” the “All of Me” singer, 40, told his mini-me son. “There you go, boy, get it!” Since Chrissy loves documenting most of her life — including her kids’ life, too — we imagine we’re going to be seeing a lot more of baby Miles and we’re not mad at all about it!
